On Wednesday, we went to our local animal rescue shelter, just to "have a look". This is what we came back with:
This is Phoebe, she's only seven weeks old. She's absolutely lovely and settling in very well. But she's so small and vulnerable that I feel very nervous for her (mostly I'm worried about treading on her. Or accidentally wheeling over her with the computer chair).
I think she'll be fine, though. She already has us running around after her.
Our lives are no longer our own!

Oh. Wow. Oh she's just too adorable. Hello little Phoebe!! She's perfect! How adorable! Welshcake! You do know I'm doing little coochie-coo noises and pulling silly faces at this darling pic of Phoebe don't you?!?!?! LOL!!

I had a feeling you might like her Old Kitty!
She is so lovely, but I can't help worrying because obv. she was taken away from her mum far too young. But she seems fine and is eating and sleeping well and playing lots and is already house trained (bless her). We just have to keep a close eye on her.
She'd been at the shelter for almost ten days and all her brothers and sisters had found homes already. I think she was waiting for us :)
